California's Title 24 mandate puts solar on every new home. We make it the easiest part of your build — turnkey design, permitting, and 100% in-house installation, delivered on your schedule.
Since 2020, California's Title 24 energy code has required solar on virtually every new low-rise home in the state. For San Diego builders, a compliant PV system isn't optional — it's a condition of occupancy. The only question is whether solar makes your build smoother or slows it down.
We've turned mandate compliance into a non-event. Our team sizes each system to the home's energy model, prepares the Title 24 documentation, and installs on schedule — so solar never sits on the critical path to your certificate of occupancy.

You don't need another subcontractor to manage. You need a licensed solar partner who delivers on schedule, every lot, and takes the mandate off your plate.
California’s solar mandate requires solar PV on virtually every new low-rise home. We size, document, and certify systems that pass Title 24 and CF-1R/CF-2R review the first time — so solar never holds up your certificate of occupancy.
No coordinating a separate solar subcontractor against your GC and electrician. Our in-house design, engineering, and installation teams plug directly into your project so there’s a single number to call when the schedule moves.
We’ve run San Diego construction timelines for 30 years. We stage design, permitting, and installation around your framing, roofing, and inspection milestones — not the other way around.
Repeatable designs across a subdivision mean repeatable pricing. We offer per-lot and volume programs for production builders, with predictable costs you can underwrite into each home.
We’ve processed thousands of City of San Diego permits and SDG&E interconnection applications. We manage the paperwork across every lot so nothing stalls at final inspection or PTO.
From a single custom estate to a full tract or multifamily development, our crews handle tile, metal, flat, and composition roofs and integrate battery storage where the build calls for it.
Standardized, repeatable solar designs across an entire subdivision with per-lot pricing and schedule integration.
Architecturally integrated systems for high-end San Diego custom homes in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, La Jolla, and beyond.
Solar and storage for apartments, condos, townhomes, and accessory dwelling units that meet code and energy targets.
A reliable, licensed solar partner (CSLB #970079) you can spec into every project and trust to deliver on time.
Send us your plans for a per-lot quote and a Title 24–compliant design from the team San Diego builders have trusted for 30 years.
A repeatable process built for construction timelines, from plan review to permission to operate — managed by the same in-house team across every lot.
Send us your plans and roof layouts. Our in-house engineers design a system sized for each home’s energy model and roof, optimized for San Diego’s climate and your target price per lot.
We prepare the Title 24 solar documentation and energy-compliance paperwork your project needs, coordinating with your energy consultant so the mandate requirement is fully satisfied.
We pull City permits and file SDG&E interconnection for each lot, then slot installation into your construction calendar around roofing and rough-in milestones.
Our own crews — never subcontractors — install each system to spec, on schedule, with the consistency a production build demands across every home.
We manage final inspection and SDG&E permission to operate, then hand the homeowner a live, monitored system and the documentation for a clean close.
From custom coastal estates to inland production communities, we partner with builders countywide.
“We spec San Diego Solar into every home we build. They handle the Title 24 docs, the permits, and the SDG&E side so my super never has to chase a solar sub. Systems are installed on schedule, every lot.”
Greg T.
Production Builder, North County
“For our custom homes the design has to look right, not just pass code. Their engineers worked off our architect’s plans and the arrays are clean and intentional. One accountable partner from design to PTO.”
Marisa L.
Custom Home Builder, Rancho Santa Fe
“30 years and CSLB licensed — that track record matters when I’m underwriting solar into a development. Predictable per-lot pricing and no finger-pointing because it’s all their own crews.”

Developer, Carlsbad
Yes. Since 2020, the California Energy Code (Title 24) has required solar photovoltaic systems on virtually all new low-rise residential construction, including single-family homes and many multifamily buildings. The 2022 update further added battery-readiness and electrification provisions. For San Diego builders, this means a compliant solar system is effectively mandatory on every new home — San Diego Solar designs and documents systems that satisfy the requirement.
Title 24, Part 6 is California’s Building Energy Efficiency Standards. For new homes it sets a minimum solar PV system size based on the home’s conditioned floor area and climate zone, documented through CF-1R (compliance) and CF-2R (installation) forms. We handle the solar sizing and documentation so your project passes plan check and final inspection without delays.
Both. We provide standardized, repeatable designs with per-lot pricing for production and tract builders, and fully custom, architecturally integrated systems for high-end custom homes. We also serve multifamily projects, ADUs, and developers across San Diego County.
Yes — that’s the core of how we work. With 30 years on San Diego job sites, we stage design, permitting, and installation around your framing, roofing, and inspection milestones. Because we use 100% in-house crews, we control our own schedule and aren’t at the mercy of a subcontractor’s availability.
We do. We pull City of San Diego (and applicable jurisdiction) building permits and file SDG&E interconnection and permission-to-operate paperwork for every lot. We’ve processed thousands of solar permits, so we know how to keep approvals from becoming a bottleneck at closing.
Yes. Repeatable designs across a subdivision allow repeatable, predictable pricing. We offer per-lot and volume programs so you can underwrite a known solar cost into each home in a development.
Yes. We design and install solar — and battery storage where appropriate — for apartments, condos, townhomes, accessory dwelling units, and larger developments, in addition to single-family production and custom homes.
We serve builders and developers across San Diego County, including Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, La Jolla, Carmel Valley, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, Poway, Scripps Ranch, Chula Vista, Escondido, and the greater North County and East County areas.
